April 29th: Blog to Unite For Hunger And Hope

April 15, 2009

On April 29th, 2009, bloggers from around the world will join forces with Heifer International and BlogCatalog to help fight world hunger. “Unite for Hunger and Hope” is depending on bloggers and blog owners to assist in getting the word out about the extraordinary cause. How? Just take a few moments to do what we have done here at Chicagoland Real Estate Forum, which is to write a post or create a widget on your blog before April 29th about world hunger, reminding people that this problem still exists.  Within the post or widget, be sure to post links to a charity to help raise awareness or make a donation.

And don’t fall under the misconception that this is only a problem for 3rd world countries because world hunger has a tremendous impact right here at home in the United States. 50% of the children of minorities (Latino and African American communities primarily) suffer from chronic hunger, according to estimations from the World Health Organization. As many as 15 million children die every year due to hunger worldwide. It’s time to take a stand and help these children from all over the world. Post your blog or widget and get your Social network involved today because April 29th is just around the corner. Start showing your support and join Unite for Hunger and Hope.
