The name of the neighborhood ‘Edgebrook’ might not resonate with many folks in Chicago.  When you drive this area of Chicago’s far northwest side, you’ll think you’re far away from the city.   However, that’s exactly the idea of CA Development’s newest neighborhood: Edgebrook Glen.   Hidden away next to Indian Woods forest preserve within the boundaries of Chicago, this neighborhood of 64 luxury single family homes set in a private, park-like setting is begging you to ask, ‘this is still Chicago?’

When many young families look to leave the city for the burbs, some Chicago home buyers might consider staying and looking for a new home in Edgebrook.  Recently profiled in the Chicago Tribune, this area resembles the suburbs far more than the average person’s image of Chicago.  Edgebrook not only boasts good schools and recreation (Billy Caldwell and Edgebrook Golf Courses are nearby), but new restaurants and businesses are taking notice and popping up everywhere on Devon and Elston Avenues.

CA Development is known for it’s many quality, traditional new neighborhoods built in the city of Chicago during the past decade.  Nearby Mayfair Crossing and The Village Residences of Old Irving Park are a few of it’s current developments.

With new single family homes starting at $500,000, a new home buyer has 13 distinctive plans to choose from.   All but 9 lots have private alley access to keep the spirit of a Chicago street intact and keeping garages in back, adding to the curb appeal.   Most floor plans are 4,000 + square feet and above, boasting 4 – 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with plenty of room for growing families.  There is additional open space provided in the site plan and don’t forget the forest preserve running next door to the development.  Be sure to visit the sales office, located at 5200 West Armstrong, at 773.631.9225.
