New Single Family Home In Beverly Ridge Chicago

castleChicago’s far south/southwest side has a new neighborhood sprouting up within the Beverly Ridge community area.  MGM Construction is behind the Renaissance at Beverly Ridge project of 123 single family homes and 50 luxury town homes.

Single family homes in the city of Chicago, especially new homes are notoriously very expensive.  Not at the Renaissance of Beverly Ridge where the standard features begin at a very high level.  The ‘Estate Series’ of single family homes are generally in the 2300 square foot range start at the mid $300’s.  The floor plans differ substantially from the models but generally follow the Chicago style long and somewhat narrow style that Chicagoans are so accustomed to.  In addition to the $8,000 federal tax credit that is still available (hurry, the federal tax credit expires November 30th), MGM Construction is also offering government employee  buyers (city, county, state and federal) an upgrade allowance of $5,000 towards splurging on their new homes finishes.

However, if a buyer has the budget to move up to the ‘Renaissance Series’ of homes, the options and styles change to wide and and stately floor plans that might remind buyers of suburban home sites.  These homes range in the $500 range and up.  The Renaissance of Beverly Ridge is located just east of the Metra line for easy access to downtown jobs and cultural institutions after you exhaust the many local establishments and entertainment centers.

The neighborhoods within the Beverly Ridge community area are known as Beverly Hills and Morgan Park.  This neighborhood is famous for hosting the formerly annual south-side St. Patrick’s Day parade about 1 mile west of this new development.  The streets of the existing neighborhoods are filled with tree-lined streets and classic Chicago architectural residents.  It features extremely affordable single family homes in this beautiful and prestigious south side community.  Beverly Ridge still has a thriving Irish-American business community and culture. Anyone who has visited nearby Western Avenue can attest to this fact.
