Gerstad Builders Adds New Home Plans In Richmond

In response to customer demand and the changing requirements of the current marketplace, four all-new single-family floor plans have been introduced at Pheasant Ridge in Richmond, a value driven single-family home community being built by Gerstad Builders.  The new ranch and two-story plans, which range from 1,292 to 2,030 square feet, are designed to be attractive to first-time home buyers and families looking to downsize after the children have left the nest for good.  Currently these new, more affordable, value enhanced homes are base priced from $144,990 to $184,990.

These new homes are a direct result of McHenry County based Gerstad Builders listening to the changing residential home market and customer input about desirable changes to the builder’s current line of homes.  As a result of these discussions, the developer added a variety of ranch and two-story homes that will appeal to market segments not currently served by its existing portfolio of available homes.

The most affordable priced home being introduced by Gerstad Builders is the ranch style Biltmore floor plan. This home was designed for people who are looking for a stair-free lifestyle and are more interested in maximizing the amount of usable living space, than creating dramatic vaulted ceilings.   As a result, the Biltmore offers 1,292 square feet of living space and a two-car garage for thousands of dollars less than any single-family home in the Richmond area.

When guests walk through this home, they will be impressed with the feeling of spaciousness and the abundance of natural light that fills the rooms.  This contemporary floor plan eliminates unnecessary walls between the first floor rooms, thus the kitchen flows into the breakfast room, which continues uninhibited into the family.  The first floor also has a 12’ 6” x 12’ 6” room immediately adjacent to the home’s entry foyer that can be used as a study, living room or formal dining room.  Finishing up the first level is a conveniently placed powder room and a full size laundry room that is strategically placed between the two-car attached garage and the family room.

In addition to the four new homes, Gerstad offers 11 other floor plans that can be constructed to match a family’s needs and desires.  These customizable ranch and two-story homes provide 1,690 to 3,177 square feet of living space and are priced from $189,990 to $256,190 (Prices subject to change).   Although the Trails of Pheasant Ridge offers beautiful, well-crafted single-family homes, of equal importance are the village in which the community sits and the schools that educate its children.
