Chicago Social Media Workshop In Glen Ellyn On September 29th

Social media is a hot topic in 2009: how to use it, why you should use it and if there is a right or wrong way to utilize it for your business.  A seemingly daily-evolving medium, social media power houses such as Facebook and Twitter are everywhere.  The potential power of this media is apparent to those who use it frequently, the ability to market and engage directly to your fans, friends or followers.

If you know that you need social media in your business or personal life’s marketing plan, sign up for Social Real Estate Chicago.  The event is September 29th and will be broken up into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will cover social media for your business. The topics covered will start at 9:00 a.m. with ‘Social Media Best Practices For Your Brand / Company’ presented by Rudy Bachraty of Trulia. At 10:00 a.m. ‘The Do’s and Don’ts of Social Media’ presented by Sara Bonert of Zillow and at 11:00 AM, ‘Reputation Management’ presented Carol Flammer of mRELEVANCE.com. The fee for the morning and afternoon sessions are $25 each or $50 for the entire day.

The afternoon session will focus on Chicago real estate industry job seekers. Starting at 1:30 PM, ‘Recruiting with Social Media: Effective Use Of Facebook & Twitter’ presented by Kelly O’Brien of the Chicago Tribune & Careerbuilder. Following that session at 2:30 p.m. will be ‘Social Media for Jobseekers’ will be presented by Julie Wernau of ChicagoNow.com. Then at 3:30 will be ‘Landing Your Next Job in a Tough Economy’ with a wrap up by Mitch Levinson of mRELEVANCE a Chicago and Atlanta based internet marketing company for real estate. Mitch will show you how to ‘tie it all together’.
