Chicago’s Proposed Olympic Village Virtual Tour

September 25, 2009

The announcement of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games host city is right around the corner on October 2nd.   If Chicago wraps up the controversial bid as hoped (and expected) by Mayor Richard M. Daley.   Boosted by the election of Chicago’s own Barack Obama to the United States Presidency, the city is generally awaiting the seemingly inevitable victory.

Many wonder what it really means to host the Olympics and what will the massive projects do to improve the city’s overall look and feel in the long run after they are gone.
