Shodeen offers $30,000 in incentives to buyers at Mill Creek in Geneva thru April 30

March Madness and the NCAA Tournament may be winding down, but there’s still time to score big during Shodeen Residential’s Spring Madness Sale at Mill Creek in Geneva.

Now, through April 30, 2010, buyers can receive up to $30,000 in incentives on any new home at Mill Creek. That’s above and beyond the $6,500 to $8,000 federal tax credit still available to repeat and first-time buyers, respectively, said Mark Thomas, president of Shodeen Residential.

“This incentive provides the homebuyer with everything they need in their new home to make it totally move-in ready, with no additional expenses required when they take delivery,” Thomas said. “When you combine our Spring Madness Sale with the federal tax credit, that’s up to a $38,000 value. And that makes for an unprecedented opportunity—the likes of which we’ll probably never see again.”

Thomas noted that Spring Madness Sale customers who purchase a to-be-built or inventory home will receive a generous array of upgrades built into their residence at no extra charge, including:
• A black aluminum fence ($5,000 value)
• A 20’ x 20’ patio ($2,000 value)
• Window blinds throughout the home ($3,000 value)
• Granite countertops ($5,000 value)
• Stainless steel refrigerator, stove and oven plus washer and dryer ($7,000 value)
• Garage door openers ($1,000 value)
• 50” HDTV with surround sound ($4,000)

“In addition, you’ll also benefit from $3,000 that can be applied toward closing costs,” said Thomas.

The federal tax credit allows first-time purchasers to get up to $8,000 and repeat home buyers to receive up to $6,500, provided the home purchase is completed by April 30, 2010 and closed by June 30, 2010 and so long as the purchaser qualifies for the tax credit (for more information, visit FederalHousingTaxCredit.com).

“When you consider the combined value of these incentives as well as the already low price of our quality built homes, it’s easy to realize that this is a once-in-a-lifetime bargain,” said Thomas. “But the clock is ticking, and April 30 is not very far away.”

Shoppers can select from a variety of inventory homes in three different Mill Creek neighborhoods: Oakmont, Tanna, and Pinehurst.

Tanna neighborhood
