April 06, 2010

A rarely available double unit is for sale at the Carlyle on LSD.

Publishing heiress Linda Johnson Rice has listed her Gold Coast condo for $2.9 million.

Located on the 35th floor at 1040 N. Lake Shore Drive, the 5,393-square-foot home is a double unit and has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, balconies and a fireplace. A den with custom paneling delivers beautiful views of Lake Michigan.

Johnson Rice, 52, is the CEO and chairman of Chicago-based Johnson Publishing Company, which was founded in 1942 by her adopted father, John H. Johnson, and publishes Ebony and Jet magazines.
