Did you know that there are new residential energy codes in Illinois, including new requirements for wood-burning fireplaces? An upcoming energy code seminar by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago will explain it all.

The Illinois Residential Energy Code Seminar for the city and suburbs is set for April 21. Bill Styczynski, Al Bloom, Lew Wilson and Steven Ryniewicz will tell you how to comply with the new statewide energy codes. Topics discussed will include insulation, air barriers, duct work, building new construction, room additions and more.
