Merchandise Mart to Host a Bevy of Real Estate Events This Week

If you have anything to do with real estate, you are going to want to be at the Merchandise Mart this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Mart is hosting a slew of event. Right when you walk in the lobby, you’ll find DreamHome, an exhibit put together by the city’s best interior designers to create the ultimate home. That program has been at the Mart since April and will be a fixture through Dec. 10.

Now, let’s move on to the events slated for June 14 to 16 where you can meet the “who’s who” in the real estate industry.

Buildex Chicago

Buildex Chicago will focus on the latest trends and innovations of the real estate sector.

The show, featuring more than 150 top-name exhibitors and 80 seminars, will be visited by thousands of real estate owners, developers, property managers, architects, engineers, interior designers and much more.

“MMPI recognizes that these are challenging economic times, and that property owners, managers and operators are looking for solutions to run their buildings more efficiently and economically,” said Mark Falanga, Senior Vice President, MMPI. “Buildex Chicago will offer the products, services and technologies that will help upgrade and improve the operation of all types of properties.”

NeoCon World’s Trade Fair is the nation’s largest design exposition and conference that offers thousands of products and resources in more than 700 showrooms and exhibits, plus parties, networking opportunities and more than 150 CEU-accredited seminars, tours and educational programs.

The show, in its 42nd year, is attended by more than 40,000 architects, real estate executives, engineers, interior designers, project managers and more.

Next is the Fine Design-Residential Furnishing Show, an event showcasing the finest in home products including furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, floors, kitchens and baths, accessories, antiques and the nation’s largest collection of casual furnishings and accessories.

One more stop at the Mart: ArchLED.

ArchLED is an LED summit that will bring together solid-state lighting technology and fixture manufacturers with architects and lighting designers to discuss integrating this technology. It’s the only national conference of its kind.
