There will be 32 award categories including:

*Best Single-Family Detached, Attached and Multi-Family Homes

There will also be awards for Best in Region, Home of the Year, Room of the Year and Community of the Year.

“The BALAs are the most prestigious awards of their kind, setting the benchmark for innovations in residential home design,” said Mike Nagel, 2010 Design Committee Chairman and Partner, MAW Chicago LLC. “We are proud to have a long history of honoring those who set the bar high by encouraging creativity, originality and imagination in our industry.”
