RE/MAX Balloon to Take Flight in Norwood Park

August 22, 2010

I never got a lesson like this: The students at Immaculate Conception in Norwood Park will get to learn all about hot air ballooning when the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon visits the school on Monday.

The visit is part of an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX Metro Chicago real estate network. The RE/MAX balloon crew has been visiting area schools to show students how the hot air balloon works.

If weather permits, the balloon gets inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height.

If the program has to be held inside, the balloon envelope gets filled with cold air and then the students get to walk inside.

Either way, sounds like it will be a great way to spend the day for the 400 students and staff at Immaculate Conception School, 7263 W. Talcott Avenue.

RE/MAX Northern Illinois has been number one in the metro Chicago real estate industry since 1989. Each RE/MAX office is individually owned and operated.
