Free Financial Planning Day this Saturday in Chicago

Need advice on buying a Chicago home? You can get it for free this Saturday. (The advice, not a home.)

The Financial Planning Association of Illinois is hosting a free Chicago Financial Planning Day on October 23 at the Harold Washington Library in Chicago.

There you can meet one-on-one for 15-minute sessions with dozens of volunteer professional financial planners that will offer advice and information on a number of topics, including:

*Employee Benefits

Besides the opportunity to speak with a qualified Certified Financial Planner, the day will also offer a series of 50-minute educational workshops on a variety of financial topics. The classes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration for this event is required; you can do that at the table in the Grand Lobby on the 1st floor of the library on Saturday.
