A Chicago home has sold for $1,245,000 after spending more than a year on the market.

The three-story home, at 2650 N. Magnolia Avenue, is located in Chicago’s prestigious Lincoln Park neighborhood.

According to Blockshoppers, the homeowners, Chicago residents Jeffrey C. Maling and Rebecca L. Johnston, first listed the property in August 2009 for $1,595,000. They lowered the price to $1,449,000 before hitting the most recent price tag of $1,350,000 and settling on $1,245,000.

The couple may have taken less than they were asking, but they didn’t lose money on the deal: They purchased the 2,146-square-foot home in 2004 for $1,167,500.
