Learn to Stage Your Home For Sale or For Yourself

November 05, 2010

Are you trying to sell your Chicago home in this tough market? Or, are you staying put but are ready for a new look?

There’s a workshop on Saturday that might help you both.

The Chicago Architecture Foundation is hosting Home Staging: Staging to Sell or to Live at Lecture Hall Gallery in Chicago.

This program can:

Before and After Shots of Home Staging

Learn how simple steps can transform a room.

*Help you transform your home into a well-designed product that is merchandised to sell quickly.

or

*Assist you in taking what you already have and giving your home a fresh, new look.

This isn’t an interior design class. There’s no need to replace furniture. Staging to live involves incorporating what you own and making a room look different.

The program will also teach homeowners how to stage their homes in the best light in order to sell in this tough economy.

The workshop presenter will be Chris DeBoo, owner of SimplyStaging and President of the Greater Chicago Chapter of Home Staging Professionals.

Bring a photo of a room you feel needs a makeover and you’ll get personal and simple tips for staging it. A digital photo on a flash drive or disk would be best.
