One-Of-A-Kind Thanksgiving Fun at an Interesting Turkey Festival

November 11, 2010

Thanksgiving is the time of year to gather with family and friends for fellowship, relaxation and to eat some delicious turkey…testicles. That’s right; it’s time for the infamous Turkey Testicle Festival at the Parkside Pub in McHenry County, Ill.

This year’s Turkey Testicle Festival will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. until the wee hours of the morning and will feature beer, tasty turkey testicles fried-up to perfection and performances by SNAFU, Uncle Sam, Mellencougar, 7th Heaven and He Said She Said.

Admission to the event is $10 at the door and limited to those 21 and older. All proceeds generated from the day’s celebrations will benefit local charities. As always, play it safe and take the free bus service offered by Parkside Pub for Huntley residents from 2 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.
