Hibernian Development Wins Gold for Chicago Real Estate Development

November 17, 2010

Chicagoland Real Estate Forum congratulates Hibernian Development LLC for winning a Gold Key Award in the category of “Excellence in New Construction Condo and Apartment; 1,501-1,600 square feet” for its development at 1024 S. May in Chicago.

When Hibernian Development acquired this site, it had fallen into disrepair and neglect. The entire neighborhood is being revitalized, experiencing booming investments. The abandoned building was surrounded by beautifully built new multi-family homes, which were in a wide contrast to the old and falling building.

The design team consisting of the developer, neighborhood groups, the architect and the marketing team did a lot of research, making every effort to turn it into a one-a-of-kind final product. The result is the creation of exceptionally beautiful condominiums filled with comfortable ambience, modern design and state-of-the-art technology.

The direct and indirect benefits of this development include:

*All hazardous materials were safely removed from the land.

*Opportunity for future buyers to acquire beautiful new construction at an affordable price in this neighborhood.

*Increased value of the surrounding homes.

*Hibernian Development LLC was able to revitalize the site working in partnership with the City of Chicago and neighborhood groups.

*With the new homes being occupied, the City of Chicago will add to its tax roll, helping to provide additional revenue for parks, schools and community organizations.

The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago Key Awards were created in 1972 to recognize excellence in housing design, architecture, interior merchandising, remodeling and landscaping. It has since evolved into one of the premier housing programs in the country.
