All Home Depot stores will be hosting a kid’s free How-To Workshop on Saturday, January 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Each child will receive a kid-sized orange apron, an achievement pin and the opportunity to make and take home a wooden battery organizer.

heart shelfHome Depot offers these workshops on the first Saturday of each month to teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety. The workshops are designed for children ages 5 to 12.

On the first Saturday of next month, February 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, the workshop will involve building a pretty heart shelf perfect for Valentine’s Day or a little girl’s room, so keep that date in mind too.

What: Home Depot Free Kid’s How-To Workshop

Where: All local Home Depot stores

When: Saturday, January 1; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
