We Forecast a Wonderful Chicago Real Estate Conference

January 05, 2011

The longest-running and largest commercial real estate forecast conference is returning to Chicago this month.

The ninth annual Annual Commercial Real Estate Forecast Conference will take place at the Marriott Chicago on January 18.

Last year’s event featured more than 50 speakers from Chicago area companies, many who do business nationally and internationally. Close to 1,100 professionals were registered for the event, which had more than 45 sponsors.

“The forecast event has become our signature event, and perhaps the premier forecast event in Chicago,” said Mark Menzies, publisher of Illinois Real Estate Journal and Midwest Real Estate News. “It comes at a time when the real estate community is eager to gather as much information as possible and connect with their peers to build momentum in the new year.”

The conference will include three general session panels:

*The Big Picture in Focus

*Legal Issues Impacting Real Estate

*Financing and Investing

After the panel discussions, there will be breakout sessions that will focus on various areas of commercial real estate.

There will also be networking opportunities. One hot topic of discussion will no doubt be what impact the new mayor will make on the Chicago real estate market.

Registration is listed at $79, but on the site right now it says $59. If you wait until the day of the event, it increases to $109, so it’s worth it to sign up in advance.
