Wanted: Input Involving Chicago’s Future

March 12, 2011

Now that Chicago residents have voiced their opinion about who should be the next mayor of the Windy City, that mayor-elect wants to hear more opinions from those Chicago residents.

Chicago’s next mayor, Rahm Emanuel, and his transition team have launched a website where residents can express their opinions and even apply for a job with the new administration.

At Chicago2011.org, you can:

Click to enter!

*Provide ideas as to what direction the city should go in the future

*Give feedback on Emanuel’s agenda

*Vote on certain issues and respond to comments

*Learn more about Emanuel and his background in government

*Submit resumes to work on the Emanuel administration

“This site is meant to be a hub for Chicagoans to interact with the incoming administration and offer their input, ideas, and feedback to the new administration. Mayor-elect Emanuel wants all Chicagoans to be involved in his administration,” says the site.

You can even post your opinions anonymously, though you should probably give your name if you are looking for a job.
