Spring Events Near McHenry County Real Estate

May 06, 2011

With spring in full bloom, you can finally get out of your homes and experience all that McHenry County has to offer this season. If you’re ready for a blast from the past and a bit of nostalgia, then we have a couple of suggestions for you.

Those looking for delicious food from a place that is quickly becoming a historic landmark in McHenry should visit the famous Richmond Dog n Suds restaurant. Located just minutes from the Richmond new homes at The Trails of Pheasant Ridge, the drive-in restaurant served its first patron in 1953 and has since been the spot to get a tasty hot dog or root beer.

When you’re finished dining at Dogs n Suds, head on over to the McHenry Outdoor Theater on Chapel Hill Road. It’s one of the last drive-in movie theaters in the country and is a great location for families and couples looking for a romantic date night. The best part is, it’s located near the much sought after McHenry County real estate at Liberty Trails; so, homeowners won’t have to travel far for a fun evening out of the home.

Both The Trails of Pheasant Ridge and Liberty Trails offer buyers ranch and two-story plans, up to four bedrooms and as much as 3,200 square feet of living space.
