Lower Your Rate Then Celebrate at Theme Park

June 21, 2011

An independent energy company has created an entertaining incentive for Chicago-area residents to switch suppliers.

Houston-based Spark Energy is an energy provider that claims to have a one-year fixed-rate plan that is lower than ComEd’s current electricity supply rate for residential customers.

And, if you switch your service to Spark Energy this week, you could be one of the Chicago-area residents that win two free tickets and a parking pass to Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor in Gurnee.

“Spark Energy saves customers up to 10 percent off their electricity rate over ComEd without any cancellation or transfer fees,” said Hal Poel, Director of Marketing for Spark Energy. “By offering Six Flags Great America tickets to new customers, we help power summer fun for folks all over Chicagoland.”

The first 200 ComEd customers to switch to Spark Energy online at sparkenergy.com/sixflags and enter the promotion SIXFLAGS will automatically receive two free tickets and a parking pass to Great America that are valid any time during the 2011 season. That package is valued at $140.

The promotion started today and runs through June 26.
