Want to live in a piece of metro Chicago real estate enriched in music history?

Wilson’s former estate also played host to rock legends, including Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon’s son, Sean, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, and music producer Joe Thomas.

Wilson reportedly moved to the Chicago area to work with Thomas, who bought the home next door and still lives there today.

But this story isn’t about music. It’s about a fabulous piece of metro Chicago real estate for sale.

Wilson bought the St. Charles estate in 1997 for $1.4 million and, after a fallout with Thomas, put it on the market in 1999 for $2.4 million. It sold in 2001 for $1.5 million.

The two have reportedly worked out their differences, and the new owner of Wilson’s old home could see the former owner staying next door on a future trip to the Chicago area.

But back to the house!
