Weekend Events Via Air, Water and Ground

August 19, 2011

One of my favorite memories puts me on the roof of a Chicago real estate high-rise as Thunderbirds and Golden Knights zipped by my head.

air show over chicagoWhether you spend time in Chicago this weekend on a roof or down by the lake, you’ll get to experience the 53rd annual Air and Water Show, the largest free show of its kind in the United States.

More than two million spectators are expected to line the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as a focal point, on Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
