Chicago Builders Associations to Score Big Alongside the NFL

Are you ready for some helping?

Two metro Chicago real estate builders association are teaming up with the NFL to give back to local communities.

The Northern Illinois Home Builders Association (NIHBA), the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC), and Home Aid Chicago, HBAGC’s official charity, have started an initiative with the NFL Players Association for a hands-on opportunity to make a difference around Chicagoland.

homeaid logoThe first project will take place at a Chicago school called AMIkids Infinity Chicago, a nonprofit, community-based organization that works to prevent and reduce delinquency around Chicago. The group tries to improve public safety by redirecting at-risk youth and helping them to become productive residents.

On August 25, representatives from HBAGC, NIHBA, HomeAid Chicago and the NFL will be on hand to do some painting, cleaning and light repairs at the school, and you can help too.

The initiative is looking for volunteers to help give back to the community. If you are interested, you must register by August 22 and sign a waiver.

You must be 18 years old to participate. Make sure you wear old clothes and no sandals.

When: Thursday, August 25; 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
