September 07, 2011

A metro Chicago new home model that was recently unveiled has already won an award.

The Kingsford plan at Sanctuary Pointe in New Lenox earned the Home of the Month award in August by the SouthWest Suburban Home Builders Association.

Sanctuary Pointe by Hartz Homes is a new development of single-family homes on estate-sized lots in the southwest suburb.

Hartz Homes' Kingsford model at Sanctuary Pointe was SSHBA's August Home of the Month.

Prices start at $239,900 for the 2,470-square-foot Kingsford, which features four large bedrooms, including a 20-by-18 master suite, two-and-a-half bathrooms, nine-foot ceilings and a second-floor laundry room.

“Sanctuary Pointe is one of the most exciting communities we’ve ever developed and the Kingsford’s debut energizes the entire community,” said Hartz Homes Phil Hartz. “We’re thrilled that others see the innovation and style in the Kingsford home just as we do.”

Sanctuary Pointe has also introduced the Citrine II, a three-bedroom floor plan that includes a second-floor loft area that could be converted into a fourth bedroom.

In all, there are 14 single-family home plans at Sanctuary Pointe, a secluded community located one mile north of Route 30 on Marley Road in the heart of New Lenox.

The development is minutes away from the Metra train station, Interstates 355 and 80, the Sanctuary Golf Course and continually sprouting retail and dining options.
