Clean a Chicago Neighborhood With Bears

Want to score a touchdown for your neighborhood or your own Chicago real estate?

A home improvement store and two Chicago Bears are teaming up for two contests that will make one lucky community’s curb appeal a lot better and another winner’s home much cleaner.

Through the Neighborhood Fall Clean Up program, Lowe’s will donate $25,000 towards a fall clean-up in one Chicago neighborhood, and Chicago Bears Charles Peanut Tillman and Johnny Knox will go to that town and work.

tillman and knoxNeighborhood parks, school yards, even city blocks will be considered.

All you have to do is visit and nominate your favorite local charity and area that needs a clean-up.

Deadline for entry is September 18. The winner will be announced the following day, and the clean-up will take place over a six-hour period on Tuesday, October 18. Tillman and Knox will be there for two, two-hour periods, just so you know.

Want some cash to clean-up your own Chicago real estate?

Tillman will also be running a contest called, “Lowe’s Win a Lunch with Peanut Tillman” from October 4 through October 31.

The prize is a two-hour lunch with Peanut for the winner and a guest plus a $1,000 Lowe’s Gift Card.

That should get you quite a bit of cleaning supplies.
