Life Cereal first came to the breakfast table in 1961. In the 70s, Quaker Oats created one of history’s most famous commercials about Mikey, the kid who hated everything but ate Life cereal.

“He likes it! Hey Mikey!” was the commercial’s catch phrase. It ran from 1972 through 1984 and was one of the longest running commercials of all time.
