Nominate a Great Chicago Real Estate Developer

October 24, 2011

Nominations are being accepted for the 2011 Custom Home Builder of the Year Award competition.

How fantastic would it be if the award-winning custom builder happened to develop Chicago real estate? What a boost that could bring, especially during this tough time in the new home construction market.

So? Know anyone to nominate?

Each year, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recognizes one builder who creates innovative custom homes, focuses on customer service and shows leadership within their company, the industry and the local community.

“The NAHB Custom Home Builder of the Year Award showcases superior talent and commitment to the custom building industry,” said Ernie Platt, Custom Home Builder Committee Chair. “From design to construction, business practices to philanthropy, NAHB recognizes custom building at its finest.”

Entries are being accepted through Friday, October 28 for the competition, which is sponsored by the Propane Education & Research Council.

To be eligible, a nominee must be:

*A custom home builder

*An excellent leader

*Active in the NAHB or a state or local building association

*Involved in the local community

The winner will be honored at the 2012 NAHB International Builders’ Show on Friday, February 10, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.

Ready to enter? Visit nahb.org/customaward.

You can nominate yourself or someone else. But hurry: This Friday is the last day for entry.

Good luck!
