And, now Chicago is getting a new resident.

Deborah Robertson, of Baltimore, was recently announced as the grand-prize winner of HGTV’s Urban Oasis contest.

Her prize? A new, luxury 35-floor condo in the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago.

Robertson, 57, was chosen from more than 14 million entries for the prize, valued at $750,000.

This was the second Urban Oasis Giveaway — the first was last year in New York — and Robertson upped her chances of winning by entering twice a day, seven days a week for the entire stretch of the contest.

Robertson, who works as a staff assistant for the Social Security Administration and lives with her sister in their childhood home in Baltimore, has never been to Chicago before.

Her new home was decorated by HGTV designer Vern Yip and came in complete move-in condition, fully stocked with kitchen items, furniture, art pieces and a view of the city like no other.

Then, tune in to HGTV on Thursday, December 29 at 7 p.m. to see Robertson’s reaction to her win on the HGTV Urban Oasis Giveaway 2011 special.
