Shredding Days Across Chicagoland

April 12, 2012

As you clean out your metro Chicago real estate this spring, protect your home and your identity by properly disposing of any personal documents.

Best bet: Shred it.

Identity theft is on the rise. It is estimated that more than 10,000 victims of identity theft this year are from the state of Illinois. When you are ready to discard documents that contain your personal information, destroy them and protect yourself from fraud.

To help Chicagoland residents do just that, Liberty Bank will be hosting a line-up of Shredding Days at different branch locations around the area this spring, with the first one this Saturday.

Participants can bring up to 25 pounds of papers to be shredded. There is no cost to shred and no reservations are needed.

Liberty Bank’s upcoming free Shredding Days, each scheduled on a Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:
