Midwest Real Estate Data Honors Former President

Chicagoland Real Estate Forum would like to congratulate former Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) President Dean Rouso on being awarded the MRED Distinguished Service Award.

Mr. Rouso, a Broker with Baird & Warner in LaGrange, was honored with the MRED Distinguished Service Award during the company’s recent Strategic Planning conference in downtown Chicago.

The former Midwest Real Estate Data president was given the award based on his many accomplishments in the Chicagoland real estate market including:

  • Mr. Rouso has been a member of MRED’s Board since its inception in April 2008.
  • He has dedicated years of service to his local Association, the MainStreet Orgnaization of Realtors®, as well as the Illinois and National Association of Realtors®.
  • In January of 2010, he was elected to the office of MRED President and served until his successor’s election in January of 2012.
  • Under Dean Rouso’s leadership, a well-functioning Board of Managers was formed.
  • Dean Rouso guided the search and selection process of MRED CEO Russ Bergeron.

“I am very proud to receive this award from MRED,” said Rouso. “It is gratifying to be appreciated by my peers for the important work we have accomplished together these last few years. MRED has now gained its rightful place amongst MLSs in the country, and I am thrilled to have played a part in the growth of this organization.”

The continued success and prominence of MRED in the real estate industry is a tribute to the vision Rouso embraced and helped to implement. His contributions came at a critical time in the life of MRED which merited this special acknowledgement from MRED and its leadership.

“Dean Rouso is a rare individual who deeply cares about issues and yet respects the roles that others have in an organization,” said MRED CEO Russ Bergeron. “I have not had a better working relationship with anyone, and I will truly miss being able to impose upon him for his input and guidance regarding Board issues. He sets the standard for great leadership and demonstrated what can be accomplished by one dedicated individual.”
