Chicago Real Estate to be Honored

May 21, 2012

Want to meet some Chicago real estate owners and developers who are working to make our city a better place in which to work and live?

They’ll be at the Chicago Association of REALTORS’ 20th Annual Good Neighbor Awards event on Thursday, May 24 at the Hilton Chicago.

The C.A.R. Good Neighbor Awards highlight new, rehabbed and redeveloped properties in the Chicago area that have helped boost the local economy. These properties, which compliment their surrounding streetscapes, help strengthen community pride.

Past award winners have included single-family homes, innovative condo and apartment buildings, commercial properties, salvaged historic properties, rescued architecturally significant buildings and rehabs of formerly stigmatized properties.

David W. “Buzz” Ruttenberg, founder of Belgravia Group, Ltd., will emcee the awards event, which will feature cocktails and hors d’oevres, networking opportunities and a chance to see the award-winning property exhibits.
