Andersen Windows Present Houses That Work Workshop on June 8

Home that is energy efficientAndersen Windows is holding a Houses That Work event on Friday, June 8th, in Oak Brook, IL with the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA). All Architects, Builders, Remodelers, Property Managers, and Real Estate Professionals are invited to attend this event that will cover many topics including how to:

  • Learn the fundamentals of air, heat, and moisture flow and see how they can be applied to remodeling existing homes to make them more efficient, safe, healthy, durable and comfortable.
  • Apply the building science to common remodel projects such as: windows, roofing, re-siding, weatherization, kitchen & bath replacements, foundation & basements, and HVAC upgrades.
  • Identify process changes needed to cost effectively implement energy efficiency in remodel projects. Learn about the successes of other remodelers who have benefited from implementing energy efficiency objectives into remodel projects.
  • 98% of all Houses That Work attendees indicate they will implement an immediate product or practice change following their training. Houses That Work Educational Sessions engage you in an interactive, hands-on learning lab where practical solutions and product innovations improve the energy efficiency and bottom line of the homes you impact.

This event is eligible for 8 CEU Credits. Session also includes information and processes required to meet the 2012 IECC Codes going into effect for the entire state of IL on January 1, 2013.
