Firework Displays Around Chicagoland

Chicagoans will no doubt be celebrating the Fourth of July holiday all week long, since the actual celebration falls right in the middle of the week on Wednesday.

There are fireworks celebrations planned all over the area, even though those displays could pose a risk this year. Find out why tomorrow at Chicago Real Estate Forum.

Here is a list of Chicagoland communities planning firework displays. All events take place on Wednesday, July 4 at dusk, unless noted otherwise.

Antioch: Williams Park, 874 Main St.

Arlington Heights: Arlington Park Race Track, 2200 Euclid Avenue.

Aurora: Hamlin Park, Tuesday, July 3, 10 p.m.

Aurora: Illinois Math & Science Academy, 1500 W. Sullivan Rd. on Wednesday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m.

Barrington: Metra Parking Lot in Downtown Barrington.

Bartlett: Apple Orchard Park, 9:30 p.m.

Batavia: Mooseheart Field, 9:30 p.m.

Bensenville: Redmont Recreational Complex, 735 E. Jefferson.

Buffalo Grove: Village Hall Campus at 9:15 p.m.

Cary: Lions Park, 1170 Silver Lake Rd., on Tuesday, July 3.

Chicago: Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand, 9 p.m. This is Chicago’s only planned fireworks display.

Clarendon Hills: Hinsdale Golf Club, 140 Chicago Ave.

Crystal Lake: Lakeside Legacy Arts Park, Sunday, July 1.

Deerfield: Brickyards Park at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3.

Downers Grove: At 75th Street and Lemont Road.

Evanston: Clark Street Beach, east of downtown, at 9:15 p.m.

Forest Park: Deerpath Community Park at 9:35 p.m.

Fox River Grove: Picnic Grove Park at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 7.

Glen Ellyn: Lake Ellyn, 645 Lenox Road

Glenview: 800 Shermer Road.

Highland Park: At the Velodrome on Maple Avenue West off Waukegan Road.

Hoffman Estates: Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway. This show also includes the cities of Elgin, Hanover and Hanover Township.

Lake Zurich: Paulus Park, 200 S. Rand Rd.

Lombard: Madison Meadow Park, 600 East Madison St.

Morton Grove: Harrer Park, 6250 Dempster.

Mount Prospect: Melas Park, 1326 W. Central Rd.

Mundelein: Kracklauer Park, 100 N. Seymour Ave.

Naperville: Knoch Park, 724 S. West St., at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3.

Oak Brook: Polo Grounds off of 31st Street between Spring and York Roads on Tuesday, July 3.

Oak Forest: 159th Street and Central Avenue.

Oak Lawn: Richards High School, 10601 Central Ave.

Orland Park: Centennial Park, 15600 West Avenue, starting at 9:15 p.m.

Palatine: Community Park, Palatine Road near Hicks Road on Tuesday, July 3.

Palos Heights: Lake Katherine at 9:15 p.m.

Park Ridge: Maine East High School, 2601 W. Dempster on Tuesday, July 3.

Plainfield: Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Dr., on Tuesday, July 3.

Rockford: David Park, 211 N. Main St.

Rolling Meadows: Salk Park, 3699 Pheasant Drive.

Tinley Park: McCarthy Park on South 80th Avenue.

Warrenville: Cerny Park, 3S258 Manning Avenue.

Wauconda: Cook Park, 700 N. Main St., at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3.

Westmont: Ty Warner Park, Plaza and Blackhawk Drive.

Wheaton: Graf Park, 1701 Manchester Rd., on Tuesday, July 3.

Wilmette: Gillson Park, Lake and Michigan Avenues, at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3.

Woodstock: Emricson Park, 900 W. South St.
