Election Contest Itinerary May Include Trip to President’s Hometown

Americans are visiting Chicago real estate now more than ever.

According to bookings made on, Chicago is now the third most preferred destination for American travelers. In fact, the hometown of the President of the United States is a top travel destination for travelers from Los Angeles and New York City, collectively representing more than 10 percent of bookings from those coastal cities.

Meanwhile, another online travel company is running a contest this election year in which the reward is free travel. has founded the “Vacation Party” to secure Americans’ vacation rights and is looking for a party leader.

Interested candidates can enter by making a 60-second video by August 27 persuading voters why they should lead the Orbitz Vacation Party.

Three finalists will be chosen, and the general public will vote for their favorite from September 6-19.

The winner will be announced around September 25. The creator of the winning video will be named the Orbitz Vacation Party candidate and will campaign for the Vacation Party in some fabulous vacation destinations in the weeks leading up to the November general election, perhaps even in the current President’s hometown.
