High-Flying Weekend of Fun

August 16, 2012

If you are downtown this Friday, you might just get a sneak peek of the largest free air and water show in the country.

The 54th Annual Chicago Air & Water Show is taking place this Saturday and Sunday, August 18-19, but many of the acts will take to the Chicago sky on Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to practice.

It’s like getting a mini show without having to deal with the two million people that are expected to come out for the spectacle over the weekend.

Whether you experience the practice runs or not, we have all the information you need to enjoy the show in the city this weekend. Check back to Chicago Real Estate Forum for that story tomorrow.

Here are a few other events going on around Chicagoland this weekend. Have a great one!

Tickets are $35 per person; $30 per person for groups of four or more, and there are more tours in the upcoming weekends.

Divorce Expo: This is the first event of its kind in the Chicago area and is set for all-day Saturday, August 18 at the Hotel Arista in Naperville.
