Last week, we discussed the Chicago and River Forest homes for sale of Carlos Zambrano and how the former Cubs pitcher is going to take a loss on each in:

Famous Chicago Real Estate Hits the Market

Now another former Cub is going to take a loss on his Chicago home.

After more than eight years with the Cubs, third baseman Aramis Ramirez left town and went to the Milwaukee Brewers this season, and in the process, put up his Lake Shore Drive condo for sale. Listed originally for $849,99, the price was dropped quickly and now sits at $739,000. Ramirez bought the unit in 2005 for $937,500.

That’s what you call a motivated seller.

The 2,300-square-foot, 10th-floor condo features three bedrooms and three baths, built-in window seating in the living room, an adjoining wet bar, stunning lake and skyline views to the north and south and in-unit laundry facilities.

It’s located on the 10th floor of a 35-floor, pet friendly building at 1440 N. Lake Shore Drive, which offers such amenities as an exercise room, a roof deck, a door person and a party room.

There are monthly assessment fees of $1,653, and the 2010 tax bill was $10,114.

A small price to pay to live in the digs of a former Chicago Cub.
