From now until December 9, 2012, don’t miss out on your chance to visit the Chicago Dream Home. What is the Chicago Dream Home you might ask? The dream home consists of nine rooms that have been decorated by Chicago’s top interior designers, and all of the furniture in the dream home comes from the Design Center located at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. The Design Center currently consists of more than 150 showrooms, so the Dream House is a perfect way to get inspiration for your new home!

Each room in the house is designed by a different Chicago-area designer. The bedroom is designed by the Vincere Design Room. Vincere’s current projects include designing everything from a 19th century flat in Vienna to a prewar condo on the Gold Coast. The dressing room is created by Smartrooms, one of Chicago’s leading cabinetry designers.

Other rooms and designers include the following:

  • Foyer designed by Jillian O’Neill Interior Design
  • Study designed by Robyn Shapiro Design
  • Game room designed by Gray & Walter, LTD
  • Dressing room designed by Smartrooms
  • Dining room designed by SemelSnow Interior Design, Inc
  • Kitchen designed by Plain & Fancy by Dandamudi’s Inc
  • Outdoor Dining designed by Thomas Bucherie Designs

The Dream Home is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and is located on the 1st floor of the Merchandise Mart.
