mRELEVANCE and Chicago Real Estate Forum Host Builder Networking Lunch

November 16, 2012

chicago real estate networking lunchMany thanks to the local builders who attended the Marketing RELEVANCE and Chicago Real Estate Forum networking luncheon! Builders from a variety of Chicago area locations including McHenry County and DuPage County gathered Tuesday at the Maggiano’s in Naperville to share a pre-holiday meal.

Attendees discussed everything ranging from current building projects and the 2013 real estate market outlook to their unique hobbies and quirky allergies. For instance, Roger Gerstad, president of Gerstad Builders, is also a member of the USA Water Ski Show Team. We also learned that Jason Paliatka, vice president of American Colony Homes, is allergic to mushrooms. While we love talking about the housing market, it is always great to spend time getting to know local builders on a more personal level.

As for the Chicago housing market, we are beginning to see a small boost in home buying. Mortgage rates are still low, Americans are feeling more optimistic about the economy and home prices are at their highest level in six years. Thank you again to our luncheon participants for looking ahead with us toward a great 2013!
