  • The Symphony in Lights Show at the Promenade in Bolingbrook.
    A nightly light show that lasts from dusk until 9 p.m. now through December 31.
  • Zoolights at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
    A family friendly celebration at Chicago’s free zoo! Opens November 23 and continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December 23. After December 25, the event is open nightly until January 6.
  • Millennium Park Ice Rink.
    Thanksgiving weekend isn’t complete without some ice skating! The rink is open through mid-March 2013, weather permitting.
  • Santa House at Daley Plaza.
    Regular tours and hours begin November 23 and continue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December 14 from 11:00 8:00 p.m. The house will be open daily December 17 through December 24, 2012.
  • The Vienna Boys Choir at the Michigan Avenue Symphony Center.
    Select dates from now through December 31, 2012.
  • Grant Park Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk with Free Kids Dash.
    Same day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on November 24.
  • Linly Designs First Annual Me-Day at the Linly Designs Highland Park Location
    10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 24. All non-holiday items will have a 20 percent mark down
