NAHB International Builders Show Keynote Speaker Announced

nahb chicago real estate conferenceMichael Eisner, the former chairman and CEO of Walt Disney Company for 21 years, will be the keynote speaker for the 2013 National Association of Home Builders International Builders Show.

The NAHB Builders Show will take place from January 22 to 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This is the housing industry’s largest annual trade show and exhibition.

Eisner is well known for  his revitalization and reinvention of the Disney Company into an entertainment enterprise and for increasing the company’s annual revenue from $1.7 billion to $30 billion. His keynote speech will focus on the importance of innovation and teamwork.

The Capitol Steps, a political satire group, will also perform at the opening ceremonies. This year’s opening events are open to all registered attendees and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The NAHB International Builders Show is expected to attract 50,000 attendees and more than 800 industry suppliers. Topics for this year’s sessions include green building, sales strategies, universal design and economic outlook for the housing industry. The New American Home® (TNAH) 2013, a one-of-a-kind green show home, will also be a highlight of this year’s show.

The International Builders’ Show is not open to the general public. Only building industry professionals and their affiliates are eligible for registration.
