The Hamptons of Hinsdale, a multi-family project consisting of 93 condominiums in 4 buildings and 27 townhome units was resurrected by Grosvenor and Inland Funds more than one year ago. At the time Next Generation Development was hired as the sales, marketing and construction consultant for the project, the units were at various stages of rough framing leaving very little room for the design due to mechanical chases running throughout the buildings. The Nantucket was redesigned to be flexible and become both an interior and exterior unit.

The Nantucket plan targets the family that entertains a great deal and prefers an open kitchen and family room concept. This concept is not always easily achievable with a row home design, and a residential elevator was installed to adapt the unit to a live-in styled home. Upscale and polished furnishings were used, along with bold accents of green, which added to the overall fresh look.

The first floor den was treated as a work at home retreat with rich carpet textures and leather furnishings. The living room provides multiple options for seating large or small gatherings and is adjacent to the large dining room. The windows in this home provide for a sunny and bright model experience that accentuate the location and architecture of the project.

The kitchen is designed with a wide curved island for seating and food preparation. Cabinets were taken to the ceiling to showcase additional storage and design configurations. A pull out pantry added to the ease in which one can view food staples, and the powder room was enhanced with an upgraded tile wall detail at the sink. Flawless trim details enrich the second floor of the home and create unique spaces within this open design.

The master suite feels as though you are entering an upscale hotel with beautiful carpets and draperies. The master bath is spectacular with a large granite vanity, vessel sinks, modern plumbing and stunning tile work, and large secondary bedrooms provide spectacular views and closet space. The Nantucket creates elegance that is truly home.
