January 14, 2013

explore outside of your chicago real estateMark your calendars for the first annual Chicago Theatre Week, which will take place February 12 through 17. If you’ve been meaning to explore the arts and entertainment scene of your local neighborhood, this is a great opportunity to check out it!

The League of Chicago Theatres has partnered with Choose Chicago to launch the event, which aims to celebrate the theatre community in Chicago as well as encourage local residents to attend a live show. More than 100 shows will participate in the event, and each participating theatre will offer $15 or $30 tickets, which is a great deal!

In addition to discounted tickets, theatres will also offer special savings, including hotel and restaurant specials and Q&A sessions with local artists.

“The goals of Theatre Week are to celebrate Chicago theatre by offering patrons special incentives, expanding the reach throughout all Chicago neighborhoods,” said Deb Clapp, Executive Director of the League of Chicago Theatres.

Shows will take place in the city and the suburbs, so no matter what part of Chicago you call home, make sure to take part in this wonderful event.
