Illinois New Homes Builder Joins the NAHB Leadership Ladder

General Suburban Home 1Ed Brady, a Bloomington, Ill. based home builder, was recently elected to one of the National Association of Home Builder’s (NAHB) top leadership positions during the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas.

Brady, who is the owner and president of one of the largest home building firms in central Illinois, Brady Homes, is now the Third Vice Chairman of the NAHB Board. Brady is currently the head of his company, which was originally founded in 1964 by his father, William Brady Sr.

In addition to his most recent NAHB nomination, Brady has a variety of other impressive accolades. He was named president of the Illinois Home Builders Association in 2001, and has been a devoted member of local, state and national Home Builders Associations for more than a decade.

Since launching, Brady Homes has developed more than 20 communities throughout Illinois, and serves the following areas: Bloomington, Normal, Champaign, Urbana, Peoria, Dunlap, Springfield, Chatham, Bourbonnais and Kankakee. The central Illinois builder is also performs renovations for basements and kitchens.

Brady Homes has even been featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and was awarded the 2004 Illinois Family Business of the Year award by Loyola University, Chicago Family Business Center.
