There’s something about the summer sun and heat that ignites a desire to eat fresh and seasonal produce. Throughout the following summer and early fall months, there are farmers markets open all over downtown Chicago, offering up the freshest fruits, vegetables, baked goods, flowers and more to the community. With dozens of locations and hundreds of vendors, there are lots of opportunities to eat locally grown produce and try some new recipes.
