HBAGC’s Annual Key and SAMMY Awards Entry Deadline is Extended

home builders association of greater chicagoAre you a Chicago area home builder or remodeler? Do you do advertising and public relations for the home building industry? Then, make sure to enter the 42nd annual Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago’s (HBAGC) Key and SAMMY awards.

Started in 1972, the awards are a way to recognize the best in the industry, and they have grown to become a must-see event showcasing the top Chicago housing and remodeling professionals. Nearly 1,100 industry professionals attend every year, and it is one of the industry’s biggest and best nights.

Key Awards recognize excellence in almost all aspects of the homebuilding industry. Categories include:

  • Land planning
  • Landscape architecture
  • Architectural design
  • Single-family and custom homes
  • Semi-custom and spec homes
  • Multi-family units
  • Lofts
  • Remodeling
  • Interior merchandising
  • Lobbies and clubhouses

The coveted Crystal Key is awarded in recognition of innovation and creativity in the industry, as well as to the community of the year.

SAMMY Awards recognize outstanding achievement in advertising, community brochures, logos, public relations, mailings and corporate specialty pieces.

All entries must be located in the Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties of Illinois. Lake County in Indiana and Kenosha, Racine and Walworth counties in Wisconsin are also welcome to submit entries.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Friday, November 15 at the European Crystal Banquet and Conference Center in Arlington Heights. Award recipients will not only receive online coverage on Chicago Real Estate Forum, but they will also be highlighted in inserts that will be placed in local Chicago newspapers.

The deadline to register for entry into this year’s awards has been extended to Tuesday, August 20, and entry forms can be found on the HBAGC Awards’ website. Good luck!
