NAHB: Sure Path to Savings Infographic

September 13, 2013

How does it pay to be a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)? Well, the NAHB recently created an infographic to show you just that!

NAHB: Your Sure Path to Savings helps to quantify many of the major victories and savings on the legislative, legal, regulatory and codes fronts that the organization has achieved for its members.

NAHB infographic handout

The NAHB was able to successfully save the typical home builder about $7,250 per housing start in 2012, and they have taken more steps this year to provide even more bang for your buck. There are plenty of astounding numbers included on the infographic, but some of the highlights are:

  • On average, members of NAHB 20 Clubs double their company profits within three years of joining.
  • Average cost of $1,500 was saved by using the members-only endangered species mapping tool instead of hiring an environmental consultant.
  • $727 million in remodeling projects were spurred after NAHB lobbied Washington to extend the Existing Home Retrofit Tax Credit.
