Disabled Patriot Fund Dinner to be Held on Nov. 1

October 23, 2013

Chicago Charity for Veterans EventThe Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association wants to remind residents of Chicago new homes that the Second Annual Disabled Patriot Fund Black and White Night dinner and fundraiser event is coming up on Friday, Nov. 1st. This special event helps to raise money for veterans who have given so much for our freedom. The event will be held at Gibsons Steakhouse, located on 1028 North Rush Street in Chicago, from 7 to 10 p.m., and you can order your $150 tickets today on the Disabled Patriot Fund website.

The Disabled Patriot Fund uses donations from events like this to aid the financial burdens of the men and women who come home from protecting our freedom with varying levels of disabilities. The Disabled Patriot Fund helps with everything from travel expenses to home repair and groceries when government assistance falls short, so that our veterans can enjoy their post-military lives and the independence that they deserve.

The Black and White Night is a cocktail attire event where community members can meet a number of veterans who have been helped by the Disabled Patriot Fund, and see first-hand how their donations aid Illinois veterans.  There are also still event sponsorship opportunities available for those who want to give even more to veterans and support this excellent event, and even if you cannot attend, the Disabled Patriot Fund would appreciate any donation you can give to help afflicted veterans enjoy the freedom they fought for!
