Need some headbanging and dancing to balance out all that turkey you’ll be ingesting this month? Luckily, musicians don’t take time off for the holiday season and they’ll still be touring around town all through November.

James Blake is an English crooner with a knack for adding slick electronic elements to his muted pop songs. Recently, he caused another stir amongst music lovers by releasing a dark and breezy collaboration with Chicago rapper on the rise, Chance the Rapper, titled “Life Round Here.” He’ll play at the Riviera Theatre (sans Chance) on November 13. Tickets are on sale for $28.50.

Chicago instrumental metal band Pelican is back with what’s so far been their most ciritcally acclaimed album in recent years. Check out what’s sure to be another crushing set and new songs from Forever Becoming on November 15 at the Bottom Lounge. Tickets are $15.
